Policies and Procedures

I have various policies in place including behaviour management, accident and emergency and safeguarding children. These are all available for you to sign and keep copies of when you first register.
I promote healthy snacks and meals including encouraging 5 a day and offer fresh drinking water throughout the day. I attend various playgroups, soft play areas and local parks, at home I can provide a wide range of activities for your child to explore and experiment with. I also promote outdoor play in my secure garden wheather permitting.

I am registered and inspected by Ofsted against the requirements of the EYFS, this framework sets the standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to the end of the Foundation Stage.

A typical day in my home

7:00    Breakfast
8:30    School drop off
9:30    Attend local playgroups
12:00  School pick up
12:30  Lunch
13:00  Sleep/quiet time
14:45  Snack time
15:00  Planned activites
17:00  Tea

Prior to your child starting we can discuss settlinh in sessions so that your child feels secure and welcome in my home.
I understand how daunting it is to leave your child for the first time, I promote an open door policy where you can ring me thorughout the day or pop in to see us if you have any concerns.
